IMPORTANT INVITATION
Good day,
You are hereby invited to enter pigeons in one of South Africa’s top professional races.
We will be taking in young pigeons from September 2010 with our quarantine month being October 2010. Late entries will be accepted from end of October 2010 till end of December 2010 with an additional fee of R600.00 per bird. This payment is for the special quarantine facilities then needed.
We are hosting an amazing race at our one day loft in South Africa, country of the 2010 World Cup Soccer tournament!
Total prize money is ZAR 3 375 000.00 (EUR 340 000.00/$ 455 000.00) Prize money will fluctuate with the exchange rate.
The race will be held on 21 August 2011.
1. Our Race is accredited by the South African National Pigeon Organization (SANPO)
2. Our trainer is one of the most acclaimed fanciers in South Africa (Banie Deetlefs)
3. Our race is held in the Pretoria area (Gauteng Province)
4. We are out of winter and in our spring season at that time.
5. There are many game lodges and tourist attractions in and around Pretoria. If you want to attend personally we can arrange an itinerary to suit your needs.
6. An auction of the top 100 pigeons will be held the day after the race.
7. The entry fee is ZAR 7000.00 and covers the primary as well as one reserve bird.
